May 27th: BUCA held an open committee meeting to co-opt candidates for the new positions we’ve created to reflect the new areas we want the society to get involved in. Our new committee members are:

Matthew Bedrossian, Social Secretary 09/10.
Alex Kresin, Freshers’ Rep 09/10.
Benjamin Tuffley, Non-Portfolio 09/10.
Jess Walker, Non-Portfolio 09/10.
Robin Wickenden, Mature Students’ Rep 09/10.
This is just the initial stage of our expansion, however. Next year, we hope to get individual Hall Reps, as well as getting involved with the environment, the local community, and charity work.

June 5th, the BUCA committee will be hosting an end-of-year dinner, with the President and Vice-President of Birmingham University CF as guests.
