BUCA members enjoyed a three course dinner at Byzantium restaurant with A-list PPC Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones. BUCA joined seventy other Bristol Conservatives for the annual dinner, held each year to bring Conservatives together and to raise money for the association. Photo’s below.

Wilfred spoke about his upbringing and how he was determined to achieve his dream of owning a farm despite failing at school and being booted out of the army. He has his own “Black Farmer” produce line sold in many top supermarkets and has been credited with bringing many top chefs to the small screen when he was working for the BBC. Wilfred is now PPC for Chippenham and has ambitious aims of being in the Conservative cabinet to bring change to the country and show that people can overcome a poor background and be very successful.
